LPC-Associate Supervision
LPC-ASSOCIATE SUPERVISION: Text
Janice Omadeke
"Mentoring should be a fulfilling relationship between somebody with more experience and somebody with less, with the goal of helping both individuals become elevated versions of themselves."
LPC-ASSOCIATE SUPERVISION: Famous Quote
Congrats! You made it through Grad school and passed your NCE exam. Now what? Now you need to find the right person to be your LPC Supervisor and get those hours going.
The supervision experience can be overwhelming when you are just starting out. I am a board approved LPC supervisor for the state of Texas. Supervision will consist of both individual and group supervision. Both of which can be valuable in that they provide different learning experiences. I can provide supervision for individuals working with children, teens and adolescents.
As a supervisor I will emphasize the importance of being ETHICAL and will make the foundation for supervision. My theoretical approach is in cognitive-behavioral and humanistic therapy, but I also implement other theoretical approaches while supervising. Supervision will focus on diagnosing, conceptualize cases, interventions, creating treatment plans and handing different ethical dilemmas.
Contact Brittney Dotson, LPC-S directly for more information or to set up a meeting to discuss LPC supervision. I am excited to hear from you and begin this journey along side you!
We ask that in the initial meeting you provide a:
Copy of Current Resume
Copy of Master's level transcript
Copy of Professional Liability/Malpractice insurance (if already purchased)
Copy of NCE results with satisfactory score (if already taken)
