Brittney Dotson, MS, LPC-S, C-DBT

Brittney received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at University of Houston Victoria.
She has gained knowledge from previous clinical experiences helping individuals cope with a variety of diagnoses and accompanying behaviors. Brittney is familiar with working with children, teenagers, young adults and adults who are struggling with addiction and mental illness.
You may be struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship problems or maybe just unsure of what steps to take next. Brittney uses Cognitive Behavioral practices, as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy treatment to help clients adjust those unhelpful thoughts.

Judith Menendez MS, LPC

Judith received her Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. She has gained most of her knowledge and experience working is the public school system. Judith is proficient with helping clients work through their struggles with general anxiety, depression, grief and all those things that cause us unsolicited general stress.
Her philosophy on mental health support centers around the Cognitive Behavioral Theoretical approach (CBT), which is a treatment style that focuses on assisting clients in forming a dialog which helps them to become more aware of their maladaptive and unhealthy thinking. This way, life’s challenges don’t seem so insurmountable.

Nia Geiggar MS, LPC ​

Nia received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Xavier University of Louisiana and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston. She has most of her existing experience through years of work in the public school system. Nia has proficient experience helping individual clients work through depression, anxiety, grief, as well as helping couples facilitate healthy conversation and emotional maturity. Nia’s theoretical approach is rooted in person-centered theory, as she believes the therapeutic relationship itself is inherently beneficial to personal growth. This view, in concurrence with CBT’s solution oriented methods, help her clients reach their goals and live happier, healthier lives.

Michelle Akinkuolie MS, LPC

Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston.
Michelle is passionate about helping clients navigate depression, anxiety, stress, career concerns, self-esteem challenges, and family conflict. She is especially skilled at creating a welcoming, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
Her therapeutic approach blends Person-Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), allowing clients to explore their thoughts and emotions while learning practical tools to shift unhelpful thinking patterns. With a focus on growth, self-awareness, and resilience, Michelle partners with clients to overcome challenges, build confidence, and move toward their personal and professional goals.

Salynthia Jones MS, LPC-Associate

My name is Salynthia Jones and I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX. I gained most of my experience by working rural communities providing care and assessing for immediate and long-range mental health needs, I help clients with various diagnosis, working through depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress management. My theoretical approach is a blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy along with person-centered theory. Focusing on helping clients to gain confidence and the control to work through their negative thinking patterns. By becoming more self-aware of their thoughts and behaviors, clients can work towards living more happy, healthier, fulfilling lives.

Jasmine Addison MS, LPC-Associate

Jasmine holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Southern New Hampshire University.
She is has experience working in both nonprofit organizations and private practice.
Jasmine’s personal and professional journey has fueled her dedication to helping others heal, grow, and thrive. As an integrative therapist, she tailors her approach to fit each client’s unique goals and needs. She draws from a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to promote healthy thought patterns, Solution-Focused Therapy to support present strengths and future goals, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and improve overall quality of life.

Ellenya is currently receiving her Masters Degree at St. Thomas University. She is completing her practicum/internship class at Pure Hope Counseling working with teens and other young adults. Ellenya hopes to continue learning how to support those struggling with mental health difficulties.

Carolyn Conway

Hello! My name is Carolyn Conway, and I am a graduate student at Houston Christian University, where I am pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I previously earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which laid the foundation for my passion for mental health and well-being.
This opportunity allows me to work directly with clients, further developing my counseling skills and deepening my understanding of effective therapeutic approaches.
My ultimate goal is to open my own private practice, where I can specialize in women’s mental health. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive space for women to navigate life’s challenges, heal from past experiences, and cultivate emotional wellness.
I am excited about this journey and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others!
